Irv Design Manual Focus Ring - DO NOT LUBRICATE!!
Love Irv's invention for my HV20.
BUT NOTE: If you're sick of the squeeking / noise... whatever you do, do not spray lubricant (like I did...) It runs off a rubber ring that drives the shaft as you turn the ring, if you lubricate it it'll start free turning and wont work anymore. And there's no easy fix. Just a word of warning. |

If you go to the hv20 forums there some discussion about this, and some advice about what lubricant to use, and where to apply it.

mounting placement?
IRV just contacted me re placement
pin should be at 4 o'clock confusion for me was in his video it is at 8 o'clock he wrote that it was because of the mirror which was used Last edited by Stuart Kiehl; June 26th, 2009 at 04:11 PM. |
