GL2 Wa adapter and HFS 100?
Has anyone tried the GL2 58mm screw on WA adapter on a HFS100? It's less than half the price of the Canon WA adapter for the HFs100.
Thanks, Craig |

It's on order
I took a chance that it will work and ordered it. I'll post results on Friday.

Hi Craig,
I use a Canon WD58 on an HV30, which has a 43mm diameter. With a step-up ring it works fine. I'm not sure that its zoom-through though - I only use it for wide back up angles. |

Works great!
I have attached the WA adapter designed for the GL2 on my HFS 100 via the 58mm thread. Works great. It also allows for a polarizer to get placed in line. No vignetting. Much less in cost than the Canon WA for the 100 and the picture is very good as well.
