Super! What is the actual size of the lens?

I don't have that spec, but the filter thread diameter is 58mm (it's large enough to contain the IAF sensor within the filter thread ring). I suppose you could do the math to find out the actual diameter of the front objective using the supplied specs: the sensor size is 1/2.6 inches, the focal length is 6.4mm to 64mm, the maximum aperture at full wide is f/1.8, and the equivalent 35mm field of view is 43.5mm to 435mm.

I am really looking forward to reviews on this camera, I think it could produce some awesome results with an adapter.

The HF S10 is sharper than my HV-30. The lowlight capability is a little better because I can adjust the gain level which I keep on 18DB. This camera will be a winner.
