Auto Focus and Exposure Question - HG20
I am filming myself for guitar lesson videos. I get the camera set up then sit down and hit record on the remote. WHen I do this, it is unclear to me how the camera is achieving autofocus. Is it safe to assume that if the camera is facing me that upon pressing record it will autofocus on me?
Also, I am filming with a flo softbox. It is illuminating me a little too much. I would think the camera would correct for this and speed up shutter speed and/or close the aperature more. SO I have been trying to correct for this with the exposure setting. Every time I make the setting, go to playback mode then back to shoot mode I have to reset it everytime. Is there truly no way for the camera to maintain that setting? thanks, brian |
