Question for those using HV 20 and 35mm adapters at DVinfo.net

This isn't an adapter question per se, but an HV20 practical application question. For those using adapters with their HV 20s, do you need (as in: life really stinks without this) a mattebox and follow focus?

Yes, I know those devices add functionality, but for the HV 20 are the absolutely necessary? Can I focus without a follow focus, particularly since it's a smaller camera to begin with and the focus ring will be that much closer to the LCD?

Please post pix of your HV 20 adapter rig if you have them handy
