Canon HV 30 screen LCD dead
Hi all,
A friend of mine bought this camera a week or two ago, yesterday his LCD screen was unable to work, absolutely dark when camera was setted on. He went yesterday to the store (Maya Tenerife) and after a few tests the camera was replaced by a new one. Well, this is the first time I have heard about this issue and really is astonishing me. I have a Canon HV 30, hard work, and no one problem. Cheers

Electronics are delicate and sometimes things break. You're saying the camera was replaced immediately by the retailer; sounds like this story has a happy ending.

Sure, Chris. Maybe that unit has been wrong assembled or so. I say again, my HV 30 has not been treated as a delicate object as it is, and, despite all, it is working everything all right. Nobody Knows.
Cheers
