How to best stream HV 30 from 300 feet away
I am looking at streaming multiple cameras using Wirecast. The one issue I am coming up with is that my HV 30 will be roughly 300 feet away from the computer doing the switching. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to best do this. By the way most of this run will be going from a window of a building to the ground. The 300 feet is the distance between the cameras location and the computer doing the work. The cheaper the better.

Hmm. Maybe a small PC or laptop with the cam to capture and then relay stream via wifi or cat5 to the main computer?

I also just found a way that I could turn the component out into cat 5e with a gefen adapter. The thing is that I would then probably need a blackmagic card just to capture it. If anyone knows a good way to stream a capturing source from a laptop please let me know. I do have additional laptops at my disposal.
