firewire cable for HV30
will the hv30 accept the same firewire cable as the canon gl1/2s use?? I have an extra cable and I'm receiving my hv30 tomorrow..I assume it doesn't come with the firewire cable?? please advise

No, there is no firewire cable included with the camera, only a mini-USB cable for downloading photos. On the camera side the HV uses a standard 4 pin firewire cable that should match the cable you already have.
