HV 20/30 image quality and television
Is the image quality produced by these cameras good enough for the standard of important national television(BBC TVE FR1 RAI),talking about PAL system?
I've been told that the minimum camera to be deemed acceptable by this network would be the Sony HVR-A1U. Does anybody know if it is true? |

Personally, I think that the content will decide wether something will air or not. If you tell a really great story, it won't matter so much if you've got a cheap camera or an expensive one.
Under the right conditions, the HV20 produces a very nice image. If your editing system can maintain that quality, and you deliver the product on the required format, I doubt that anyone will ask what you shot it on. Like in the US military, Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
