Adding Weight
I'd like to add a little weight to my HV-20 so it will work more smoothly with a Steadicam Merlin and some larger tripods.
I know some people kill two birds with one stone by using an under the camera mini to XLR adapter, but I already own a mixer, so this really isn't a useful option for me. Any thoughts on how to add some "dead weight" to the HV-20? THANKS. |

Hi Peter,
How's about using a (or some) large heavy washers between the Cam and the Q-Release - using an extended proper sized bolt ?? I've got some 1/4" thick x 1.5" diameter ones that would do it. Should find them at a hadware store. Harold |

Wide angle lens and largest available battery for starters.
