HG10 Ghosting Prevention
I'm planning on getting the the Canon HG10, and i plan on using it for Downhill Bike racing, and mountain biking/Free riding.
I there a way to prevent ghosting on the HG10. i have not seen sports videos yet from the HG 10, does anyone know where i can find a sports video of the HG10? thanks for your time guys! Also what file types does this AVCHD camera produce (MTS or M2Tfiles) Last edited by David Tufino; January 31st, 2008 at 11:35 AM. |

If you pull the files off the camera using the included software (which I don't care for) then it will create them as m2ts. You can also pull the files off directly using explorer (pc) and the files are mts. I've started doing the later and it's quick and easy. I convert them over to cineform (using aspecthd) anyway so that I can see them in real time in Premiere Pro. Also use media player classic for a quick look. If you go to Vimeo.com and search for hg10, they have a collection of users videos from the hg10 - maybe you can find some sports stuff there. btw, I love the camera - great images, but movement tends to be a little ghosty. Maybe someone here can give us both some advice. Cheers.
