Decent Quality small exports in iMovie HD
I've played around a little with my HV-20 in trying to get it into iMovie and exported. I've found that using Expert Settings / Apple TV works best for smaller sized files to show friends (but not emailing) etc and not at full quality. What I'm having a hard time with is getting ANYTHING else to export that doesn't have the horizontal banding in the final. Even mp4 exports come out with this banding. Any suggestions to keep the 16:9 ratio but at a much smaller size for email etc?

What "banding?" Are you talking about interlacing?
Use the iPod export for progressive, email sized videos. |

That works beautifully, thanks! I've tried many many different options under expert settings and they ALWAYS have the banding I am referring to. Is interlacing thin lines running horiztonally across the screen? It looks like strips about 10 pixels thick that are slightly mismatched on top of each other.
