Canon HG10 24 Progressive ends up 29.97 in FCP

Exactly what sequence settings will produce log and transferred footage into FCP 6.0.1 with this cam?

Everything I elect that recognizes the cam produces an interlaced 29.97 clip.

Could someone provide some guidance on the steps necessary to import 24P from the cam after I have videoed with the 24F election in the Canon?

best

I am not sure there is a way right now to take h.264 24p-in-60i and turn it to true 60i (like there are several ways to do that for mpeg2), at least not without using Producer or After Effects.
