HG10, and Cineform
Not sure if this has been covered before. I downloaded some shots that Austin Meyers had posted earlier. I wasn't able to play them on WMP or even on VLC player. I was able to port them into Vegas, but got kind of a choppy playback in preview. I put one clip on the time line, and converted to my best Cineform level available in NeoHDV and I ended up with a usable file, that played back smooth.
I tried direct conversion in NeoHDV, but could get that to work. Anyone know the trick to do a direct conversion?

Direct conversion to what exactly? 24p or simply another format?

Tried the AVCHD that was downloaded raw from another thread, and converting it with HDLink doing pulldown to 24p .avi using Cineform codec.
