Somebody living in San Diego, California

I live in Germany and want to buy the WD H43 (wide converter) for the HV20. Still unavailable and much more expensive here.

I have a friend going there today, stays for 3 days. Please, i would like some adresses of shops to buy the lense in San Diego. Just email me.

Thanks in advance, Hernan.

Nelson Photo Supplies 619-234-6621 at 1909 India Street, San Diego, CA 92101 (very close to the airport) They are an authorized canon dealer, and I have bought a good amount of stuff there, not sure if they have any in stock, but their email address is

contactus@nelsonphotosupplies.com

I would contact these people first, and they are ususally nice when they aren't too busy, maybe if they don't have it in stock they can point you to who might.

The chain store Ritz which has several locations (you can google or go to dexonline.com to find locations and contacts) carries the HV20 and some accessories, not sure about the WD

then there's Fry's Electronics which usually has decent prices
619-514-6400
9825 STONECREST BLVD.,
SAN DIEGO CA 92123
but not real close to the beaches and hotels and places people usually stay.

I can vouch for Nelson Photo Supply - I was in a similar situation: I knew I was going to be in San Diego on the day of the HV20's release, so I contacted Nelson's and they kindly agreed to keep one HV20 aside for me and even charged up the battery! I walked in, paid, and proceeded directly to San Diego Zoo to inaugurate my new HV20!!!
They are very nice people.
I suggest you email them and tell them you would like to pick up the WDH-43 on a specific day - they might hold one aside for you.
