I am not tech oriented, but I know that 24p footage shot on this camera at 1/48 looks filmic, much more so than at 60i on the same camera, or on my FX1-- even when captured and played as 60i. And capturing it using NeoHDV from Cineform, using its on the fly pull-down, gives you a clearn 24p intermediate frame accurate .avi file that is imminently editable..... Whatever you call it, it works....
