New Canon Optura 600 - Will it take a wide angle adapter?
I wanted to know if the new 600 coming out in September will be able to take a wide angle adapter?
Thanks for any info. |

Yes, it has a 34mm filter thread.
Notes: 1. The Optura 600 does not have an accessory shoe. 2. EWA-Marine already has already come out with an underwater housing unit for it. * I can't wait to take one of the these new camcorders underwater when I visit the Philippines this year.

Thanks Michael. What Wide Angle adapter do you recommend?
Also, if it does not have a shoe, does that mean I can't add a microphone to it? G |

If you go with Canon the WD-H34 wide angle should work. Raynox is another popular brand.
Re: microphone I don't know yet the full details. It does have manual audio control. Check B&H photo they have the fullest description I've seen.
