Going to try the optura 60
Well, I ordered an optura 60 from B&H. It should be here tomorrow. I plan to use it as an inexpensive backup to my Gl2. One main reason is because when I have friends shooting a secondary camera with me, most of them aren't very savvy with video. So they need something they can just point and shoot, and I won't be constantly worried my Gl2 is in the wrong hands. I hope this camera will give me some decent footage. I also got a RODE videomic so I can get some acceptable audio. I would have gotten a second gl2 but I want to hold off and see what Canon might announce this Summer. I am worried about low light and also if this camera can give me good enough footage to use on my projects. I do wish this camera had a lanc input for a zoom controller.
I would like to hear anyones experience with this camera. It sounds like it has just recently become available. |

Hopefully, I'm the exception, but you can read about my experience with it in the post below. ("Optura 60 has a whining sound"..)
