Just noticed the Optura 50/60s on CanonDV.com
Forgive me if I got left out of the loop but since I don't notice any other posts I'll start the first.
Just noticed there are two new Opturas out. When did this happen, and what has changed/improved? I assume that these will replace the 30/40 series. |

How about that -- they've been announced! Guess I'll have to update the ol' Junior Watchdog pages.
Not too many changes; I'll gather some notes for y'all. Price drop of about $100 is the biggest thing. |

Xiaoli, thanks for the heads up!
It looks like, in addition to optical stabilization, both models also have AV(aperture priority) and TV (shutter priority) modes. Plus a 9 point auto-focus. |
