optura question
Looking at the brochure, the optura 30 and 40 have the same spects as the 300 and 400 and even the XI... so why pay the extra for the 300 or the XI.. Just wondering.. Thanks

The Xi at least offers two big advantages over the 30 & 40: you get Optical Image Stabilisation (which is the best) and a larger 3.5" LCD display.
The 300 is discontinued now so forget about that one. The question is, why pay more than the 30 or 40 to get a 400 or 500, since they share the same CCD and specs. The 400 is something of a mystery to me. Why even bother with it. The 500 gives you a much brighter LED video light, better than the LED on the 30 or 40. And there's the "ring light" attachment supplied with the 500. Combined with the "styling" and the compact size and horizontal ergonomics, that's supposed to be the justification for the higher price tag. Go with the one you feel will be most comfortable in your hands: either a small football (the 30 or 40) or a soda can (the 500). Hope this helps, |
