variable speed zoom on Optura 300
Hi,
can someone tell me does Optura 300 have variable speed zoot control or is it single speed only ? I'm planing to by it in a few days. I know it's a great camera, I have read all the reviews I could find... This is a great place, you helped me decided what to go for. Optura 500 is not yet available here, and that's the main reason for bying Optura 300 (mvx10i); basicly it's the same camera... Thx. Marko |

It is variable speed, but you'll need a delicate touch.

Thanks.
And what are the practical disadvantages of not being able to turn off auto slow shutter in Optura 300, when using it in normal indor conditions ? Should I be concerned about that ? Marko |

Actually you can set the shutter speed to "manual" from within the camera menu.

Thanks Patrick, but I'we already bought the stuff.
Saw your cammera earlier, but since I live in Serbia, it would be hard to go for it anyway. It's a great cam, I'm very satisfied with it. |
