people kindly replied, however i was hoping to get more info on the optura pi.

can someone please provide a brief review about this camera or how you liked about it?

The Optura PI was one of the best, if not the best, 1 CCD cams ever made.

Good low light, progressive scan, great lens, great ergonomics, well-built, good color saturation, OIS, good features, etc etc. 3 drawbacks are:

lower res in interlaced
no 1/30th manual shutter setting
manual focus is with a lever or a dial (can't recall)

There are 2 reviews at videomaker, 1 at CNET, one at PC Mag. There were others but I can't recall the mags.

If you can find one, grab it.

Plus it has an RGB color filter (the best). Do a search here; should turn up a number of threads about the Pi. Hope this helps,
