Disabling GL2 Autoshut Off
Does anyone know if you can use a GL2 without a tape in it like you can with the XL2 by turning off the auto shut off feature. I have always recorded with a tape in it as back up. We are planning to feed three cameras through a video mixer to a single DVR to record a live event Thanks for any advice. I have not used my GL2 that much to know this.

You certainly can, we do it every single day.

Disabling GL2 Autoshut Off (2)
Is turning off the powersave feature the correct way to do this?

I believe so. I'm away from the GL2's for a couple of weeks, so I can't check, but that should do it.
