My GL2 has arrived!!

Well, its here! I bought a used GL2 off a fellow forum member and it arrived today...
Thanks Aaron!

I'm going to get out the tripod and start learning how to drive this thing...

Its sure a step up from my old Pana GS250...

Bob,

you will learn to love your gl2!!! It is capable of pictures beyond most of our imaginations.
To be honest, In many ways I love my gl2 over my xl2!!!

Learn to adjust your presets and I recomend using Tv mode for a bit, then aperature, both allow you to deal with depth of field. once you master those then move onto the manual mode. forget it has the green box. But when you are having trouble getting the light right touching auto or green mode shows you what the camera will do for you.


Have a great time, and yes it is a huge step from the 250, though that aint a terrible camera either.

I had a lot of fun with it yesterday.
I tried all the modes, but found manual to be so easy that I used that most of all.

I very much like the way the controls are set up...
Initial video looks good. And I'm sure it will improve with practice.

Can't wait for warm weather.

I found a Century WideScreen adapter on e-bay for $300...
