Turn off beep
I cannot figure out how to turn off the noise when starting and stoping the recording.

I KNOW there's a way. I'll try to remember to look in my manual tonight and get back to you tomorrow. However, I'm sure it's on the menu. Just keep digging through all the settings and you'll find it.

GL1: page 23 of the manual. Menu > VCR Menu > Beep > Off. |
