What to use to clean GL2?
Hi I have a problem the other day I got a message on my GL2 that said in red "CHANGE TAPE HEAD ARE DIRTY" or something to that affect...thing is it went away really fast and keeped on recording with no problem...One question what can I use to clean the heads of the camara..Do I buy one of those cleaning tapes?

Buy a heads cleaner, they can be bought anywhere that sells tapes and range from 5-20 dollars.
make sure you buy the DRY TYPE too |

Use the dry tapes cleaners, not a wet proces cleaner.
The book says clean when you see artifacts of dirty heads. Some also suggest cleaning if you change brand of tape after a steady diet of one brand.

Thanks...How long do you usually run those in the camara? And when you run them do you acually hit record or just play...?

There will be instructions on the package. They are usually played for around 10 seconds though.
