new GL2, little screw falls out (less than a week)

Just got my Gl2 last week from B+H and a screw just fell out today. I could hear something rattling and so I opened up the tape and dumped it upside down and a little screw fell to the floor. I have no idea where it goes. Has anybody else experienced this? Any idea on where it came from?

thanks everyone.

It was inside a tape? There are five tiny little screws that hold the two shells of a DV cassette together, so that's probably what it was.

I Should of said tape deck. Maybe it came from the tape, I haven't looked that closely, it is silver though.

Since you bought from B&H, you're fully protected by Canon's factory warranty. You should send it in to Canon service, along with that screw taped to an index card. It's a free repair of course.
