If you still get too much green after manually white balancing, you could turn down the green a little bit in the custom preset.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried that but it doesn't compensate enough. I have to try different white papers I think, or in worst case check my camera at Canon service center.

How about you guys? Do you have success with manually WB indoors?

Simple answers, No and No. It's been my experience that the manual WB maintains it's settings even when you remove/change the battery. I'm assuming it's due to the internal battery.
