Hardware solutions places...
I have serveral hardware we need to attached to the GL2...
I'm still new and unsure how this works. We are looking at a beachtek XLR adapter, wireless receiver, shotgun mic and a light. It obvious the beachtek goes on the bottom of the unit, however, where does everything else go? We thought about the MA-300 (shotgun mic location and still provides a shoe) however, we like the features of the beacktek. What do you do and do you have any pictures of your GL2 setup with equipment? Thanks Tom |

I agree with your choice of the Beachtek over the MA300.
I think very highly of this inexpensive but rugged little bracket that mounts under the camera or under the beacktek and adds two more accessory shoes: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation The shotgun mic will slip into a shock mount and the shock mount can slide into one of the accessory shoes, although for some shock mounts you will have to get an accessory shoe adapter. Here are a few examples that have accessory shoes. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search
