gl2 back, Ahhh!!

some may recall that my gl2 jammed up in the infamous cassette department. I was prompted to get an xl2 to use in the mean time and for the future.

I forgot how much I love my gl2!! After the last 6 weeks filming with the heavy xl2 the gl2 was a great delight to have back!!! First images filmed were drake canvasbacks. The color and images were really fine. my wife is now using it to shoot wildlife while I have to lug about the huge xl2.
I totally recomend anyone thinking of buying a gl2 to not use it attached to the computer to run film back and forth!! Mine never gave me an issue of trouble until i used it as a player for a real big project!!!

Dale - good! The only time I have got an issue with the mechanicals of this fab machine is when I dream of using the video playback too. My Dad's old VHS Panasonic - circa early 80s? - not a problem! My DV XM2? . . .

Regards,

Grazie
