Need Canon Gl2 video sample to demo slow motion
Hey Guys,
I'm in a quest to find the "cheapest" camera that would allow to take slow motion video (hardware or in post). It would be great if someone could take a quick shot of a quarter being dropped on a table, or ball being dropped in sand (tighter the shot the better), etc so I can take that and play it back as slow as possible to see if this camera will be suitable for ouor application. The best lighting and shutter speed would be great. Random request I know, however I do not have access to a Gl2. My email is tom@tmweber.com or if you could throw it on a webserver or ftp that would be even better. I appreciate any help! Thanks!! Tom |

Tom, the GL2 will be the same as pretty much any DV camera... see the comments in your other thread. It shoots 30 frames per second. You can adjust the shutter speed to higher values to freeze the motion, but there are still only going to be 30 separate pictures taken each second.
It didn't seem like this was going to be adequate for the application you described. |
