Can I output to disk AND to a remote monitor?

I have a client that wants me to display the event I am recording real-time in an off-stage room. I had already planned to record direct to my laptop HD. Any way to do both with the GL2? If so, what would the distance limits be for the remote monitor?

I'm assuming you'll record to your laptop via firewire. If so, you can send the live feed through an rca cable or S-video. If you use a high quality BNC cable with an rca adapter, you should be able to go a few hundred feet and if you need longer, just get a distribution amp to boost the signal.
