Canon MV30/optura Pi vs. new models

I live in Portugal, there's a store that is selling a canon MV30 (optura pi PAL equivalent). That camera is completely new but it's there about 5 years or more...they can't sell it because it was very expensive...1500 euros. But now they drop the price to 750euros. It's the same price for exemple of a sony hc90 wich i like very much (good low light and true wide screen).

The MV30 is really the best in low light?
MV30 vs. sonyHc90?
MV30 is better than the newer models like the people said?
The progressive video of the MV30 looks bad when played on a tv?
