What is up ?
I just bought a Sony DSR-11 and it is having trouble playing my GL2 tapes. I used my second camera which is a canon and had no problems. I also recorded back to the deck from the computer and there was no problem. I used the same tape (panasonic) and they all work except from the GL2. The play back gas gliches in video and audio.

I had same problems with my DSR40 deck. It seems like heads on GL2 are missaligned. Usual cleaning/head adjustment at Canon service should sort this out.

Before sending your camera for alignment you should capture and/or copy any tapes which you made with it by connecting to another camera/deck/computer via firewire. If the heads are not aligned then you may find that the camera itself will no longer read its own tapes after repair - just like your DSR-11.

Are you recording in SP or LP mode? I know that my DSR-20 wont play LP at all.
