XM2 finishing qustion

I've shot my documentry film using XM-2 Frame mode... now i'm before the finishing stage... going to do it in Avid Symphony... and was wondering if FRAME mode is to be considered as 25P for the Symphony stage or not. what are the benefits of such a decleration regarding quality and workflow ? is there any disadvantages ? I know I can treat it as 25i... but is there any diffrence ?

TIA,
Alon.

I'm also working a lot in 25p on XM2, capturing, editing and exporting everything in 25p on Avid Xpress proHD. Results are just fine. Just be careful to have 25p all the time. I tried to work in 25i and have warnings all the time.

What kind of warning do you get?

You mean does that mixing between interlace & progressive is dangerous ?
I also capture in 25p, but my question is for the finishing process - is there any diffrence ? in the way AVID Symphony tread 25i and 25p? it does slowmo diffrently ? I know that the titles are different... (more choppy in 25p)...
