Viewing Auto Settings?
Hey guys and gals-
I was wondering if there is a way to view the auto settings on my GL2 while in Auto mode? I'm a beginner and I figure a good way to test to see if I have my apature, gain, and shutter speed set correctly is to switch from manual mode into auto mode and see what it is set at for the same shot. Is this possible? Thanks! -Brett |

I don't think so. You can see the settings on playback, however, by hitting the "data code" button of the remote. You can see the numbers switch in response to light, etc. But not while filming, I think.

Check this out as I am not an "auto" user but I think that if you are filming in Auto and switch to Manual it will show you the settings for that particular moment. afaik you cannot see the settings normally for Auto.

Yep. I think that's the case as well. Try that.
