Anyone use GL-2 + Final Cut Pro?
Gents!
I'm brand new to this software and am in the process of getting my feet wet. I want to export the entire contents of the timeline ("print to tape") to mini-dv tape. What things should I be aware of & watch out for..... in order to be successfull? I need to know because the computer and software I use will not be mine and my time on it is limited so it would be nice to get it done quickly with a minimum of delay, frustration and surprises. Do any of you use the GL-2 with Final Cut Pro? Would love to hear from you and get your pointers/advice. Thanks! |

There should be nothing special about using a GL2 with Final Cut. I've used GL2 footage and imported from the GL2, and it is just like any other camera in that regard.
I have never printed to tape from Final Cut at all, but if you do a quick search on how to do so in Final Cut, it would apply to the GL2 just like any other MiniDV camera. Greg |
