GL-2 and Azden SGM-1000 at DVinfo.net

Anyone have any experience with a GL-2 and Azden SGM-1000 shotgun mic? Does the mic show with the Cannon Wide Angle adapter? Any other thoughts please post. Thanks in Advance!

Mine's done a good job and I've been happy with it -- especially at the price. Not qualified to respond in techie talk, though.

I am not sure if the SMG 1000 and the SMG 1X are the same (I have the 1X). But it has preformed well, although it does show up on my century optics .3x fisheye lens, but not by much. So I would assum you would be ok with the wide angle (assuiming that the mics are the same). Hoped that helped a bit.
