Where do you live in Belgium ? I live near Eindhoven. I really want to see a demonstration of the GL2 from someone who owns the GL2. In the Netherlands it is not yet available. Even if it would be available in a shop the sales people do not know how to operate the camera so they can not show me all the "in and outs" of the GL2. Especially I am interested in the footage of the GL2 when shooting just inside (living room conditions in the evening). Maybe we can meet once and you can show me how good the GL2 is ???? If you want you can visit me and make some test shoot or I can meet you in Belgium somewhere. I can give you my e-mail address if you are interested in my proposal.

That would be nice. I do not know how to operate a camcorder so you have to do the shooting. I am just interested in the result of the footage. Maybe we can make an appointment. I will give you my e-mail address (cmj@chello.nl). By the way do you speek Dutch as well (or French).

Hi Belgian.
I live in Kortrijk, don't have the XM2 but there is a very interesting and torough test/comparison between CanonXM2, Pana MX350, and Sony TRV 950 in the German magazine "Video" (available in Belgium too)this month. Canon XM2 was the winner...

This morning I sent you the test result summary. Did you get it? There is of course more...like 3 comparison pics from exactly the same scene at 20 Lux ambient lighting, but it all takes large files. Try to get this magazine if you are interested.
