Shallow depth of fields examples

Hi,

Granted, a GL-2 is not a 35mm camera and you can't get the same kind of control over DOF.

So the question is, what can you reasonnably expect to get from the GL-2 in terms of shallow DOF?

Surely, if you subject is really close, you can get the background to be blurry.

But is it possible at least to be 2meters away from a subject and manage to get the focus specifically on it? If anyone has some examples, I would be interested.
