elock - how did i turn it on and how do I turn it off?

While using my GL2 the other day, I accidentally turned on elock (it said E-Lock in the viewfinder). Unfortunately, I missed a lot of video while trying to figure out how to turn it off? I eventually "rebooted" the camcorder (turned it off and back on), to get ride of the elock.

How does one turn on/off elock.

Thanks!

Exposure Lock is covered on page 78 of the GL2 owner's manual.

Thanks for the pointer.

The msg in the viewfinder simply said "e. lock", which is not listed anywhere in the text of the manual. After seeing your pointer, I found "e.lock" in the tiny viewfinder pictures on pg 78.
