mounting 2 mics to shoe adapter
I have a GL2 with a Beachtek adapter mounted underneath. I'm using an AT897 shotgun mic and a Sennheiser wireless. I'd like to be able to mount them both to the camera to cut down on wires and awkwardness. I came across the Mamiya shoe adapter - double at B+H, and am wondering if anyone has used it and, if so, what they thought of it. If not, any educated opinion on this setup would be appreciated.
See the Mamiya shoe adapter at: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=146293&is=REG |

tried it - works great
I bought the double shoe adapter and have my wireless receiver and a beyerdynamic EA 86 shotgun mic holder attached to it. It works great and has eliminated numerous feet of cable. Highly recommended.
