Funky Rubber Eyepiece
I've just purchased a GL2. Sweet camera indeed. While the eyepiece it ships with is ok, I really enjoy shooting with an eyepiece like the XL1. With the XL1, you can stretch a soft foam cinema cover over it and it works fab.
The 'bonus' square eyepiece the GL2 comes with is week at best, as with any pressure on it from the eye, it flops inward. The link below is for a review on the GL2 but the picture in the article has a funky rubber eyepiece that looks much better than the stock options. Anyone seen one, or know where to snag one? www.digitaljournalist.org/issue0208/cameracorner.htm Cheers. CCM |

Hi Chris and Welcome!
Yes, the eye cup in the photo is the Ikkup Eyecup available from Videosmith for $29.95. Go to Videosmith.com and look under their "Accessories" list. (I recently had the same question and I believe my colleague, Jeff Donald, sent me to the same place.)
