Larger Memory Card Recommendation
Hi All:
I purchased the amazing GL2 about five weeks ago (my first camcorder) and have been learning to use it. I've been lurking here about two months. This site is great and thanks to you all for the great info... I got the GL2 mainly for doing small nature clips and stills for my website. The Canon website says that the 8MB SD Memory card will hold 17 fine quality or 32 standard quality stills. Canon technical support told me that Sandisk is the make of the memory card. Looking on their website they have a 64MB for $49.99. Am I limited to this memory card or are there any larger cards from other companies out there that will work with the GL2. Thanks. I believe 128's are out now with 256's to follow soon. No problem using with GL2. Either MMC or SD format will do.
