GL2 red color problem?

Just picked up a GL2 to replace a Panasonic 352 and am very happy with the handling, 20x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The 3 CCD design really does outperform a single chip design by a wide margin!

One thing I have noticed with this camera (and an instore demo) was the 'bleeding' of the red colors on playback. Not so much of a problem on long shots, but closer shots seem to show an oversaturated red with bleeding.

Is this a common problem other users have found?
The other colors seem very sharp and accurate.

Going to check out some other cameras at my dealer for this problem.

BTW the in-store demo developed the dreaded 'tape error' message on rewinding.
Bought the extended warranty for my camera at the same time.

Was at an Photo Imaging show sponsered by my dealer where the reps from all the companies were there.

The store manager had already showed my footage to his video sales staff and they thought it was fine until they heard it was a GL2 and they said "Not!"

The footage was shown to the Canon reps and they said there was definitely something wrong, the red was way off.

The manager exchanged the camera and I shot some more footage on Friday and it was better. Going to shoot a load of footage over next week to check the results.

Will continue to report....
