Head Cleaning
I was using my GL2 and a message came on that said I needed to clean the video heads. Can anyone give me some advise on what is the best way to clean video heads in the GL2? I have heard about using a cleaning tape, but I am not sure which one to buy, or have them cleaned some other way..Help
Thanks |

The brand of cleaning tape you buy does not really matter. They all work in much the same way by running a slightly abrasive tape over the heads for a very limited time. What is important is that you use the cleaning tape precisely as its instructions suggest. It's generally ok to repeat the cleaning process once or twice in succession (again, consult the instructions), but if that does not fix the problem you will need to have the camera serviced by Canon.
Good luck.
