recording problem
a few days ago, while recording on my gl-2, i noticed that the camera started to pause recording by itself, and even to shut itself off for a second, before coming back on, thus resetting my camera settings (or even worse, disrupting my recording).
I cleaned the batteries, thinking that the contact might be bad, but it was happening with all my batteries. The problem was happening randomly, at times twice in a minute, at times not at all in a half hour....either way, I am very frustrated by this problem. Has anybody encountered any similar problems on their gl-2?? Or found possible solutions?? Thanx ahead... |

How old is this camera? I have no clue what could cause this. It
probably needs to be serviced at Canon. Perhaps some connection is loose or a PCB board is cracked etc.

I bought it December '02...
The problem never happened till a week and a half ago..... I have no clue--every time it happened was when the camera was in my hands and moving--when on the tripod it didn't happen... I guess the warranty was only a year, and I wouldn't even know where to start looking to have it checked out by someone who actually knows what they're doing |
