I am going to get GL2 tomorrow, hopefully everything will be fine. Hope I make the right choice cause I can't afford VX2100.
I already have a Senhessier MKE300 mic. One question, how can I put the mic and a light on the shoe mount of the GL2? Is it possible to use both accessories at the same time? I also got Tiffen UV-Haze 1 filter to protect the GL2 lens, is it ok if I keep it on all the time? |

Here is one option for mounting a light and a microphone

I just purchased my GL2 today in Toronto for $2650+tax=$3048, not bad.
I checked everything inside the box at the store, looks great! I haven't start playing with it, hopefully I will love it more when I start shooting something. Thanks everybody for the advises! |

Just out of curiosity where did you buy it in Toronto?
That is a pretty good price for Canada.

I bought it at a store called "Camera Place & Electronic", they have the best price around that area. I asked other stores before I purchase there, they sell higher price and didn't want to match the price. So they lost my business.
