GL2 price drop?
hi,
first time poster, long time listener, since cannon has announced they are releasing the new XL2 camera, will the price for a new GL2 be coming down any time soon? thanks! |

Highly doubtful. Different products, different markets. Besides, it's already one of the best deals on the market.

they have that $250 rebate. i suspect that came as a result of the DVX100A and the impending release of the XL-2. i doubt it will come down any further. especially from Canon. (remember, they've still been trying to market the XL-1S at full retail price until... well, until they released the XL-2.)
