I don't know that bag, but depending on what you want to spend there are a few options. For the money, I think the Lowepro Vidcam 4 or 5 would be good. For the GL2, what I would do is go for the 5, and then get some 1" packaging foam and line the inside of the bag with it. Doing this will give you a darn good protective bag. If you want LOTS of room for extras, then go for the Vidcam 6 size (that's perfect for the XL1), and add the 1" foam inside the bag.
I've got the Vidcam 2 bag for my MX300s, and I lined them with 1" packaging foam; they're very nice (and sturdy) for the money. I can safely drop the bag with cam inside from a height of 8 feet, and all that will happen is a bounce, with the cam unharmed. You can't do this say with the much more expensive Portabrace bag. (Unless you also add some packaging foam.) |

My GL2 is riding in a Lowepro Nova 5. ~80 $US
I've carried my Optura Pi in a Nova 3 for over a year and really like the bag. But then again, I don't know the Kata. |

In my opinion the KATA CCC-3333 is perfect for the GL2. Go to the Watchdog at www.dvinfo.net/xl1.htm > Articles Menu > Storage and Transport for a review.
